The Indigenous Studies Working Group is back for February! Join us this month for Learning about Indigenous Knowledge Systems. Dr. Emily Sorroche will reference Dr. Brayboy’s work and guide us in discussion.
Dr. Emily Sorroche (Citizen of the Cayuga Tribe) is currently the Associate Director in the CANR Office of Diversity Equity and Inclusion at MSU. In this role, Sorroche works to create and promote professional development programs that emphasize diversity, equity and inclusion, as well as develops training tools to empower supervisors and administrators to evaluate and reward diversity and inclusion capacity. She also provides regular educational and networking opportunities for graduate students, faculty and staff.
